IRWG has awarded $15,000 to two faculty projects as part of a new incubator initiative.
In response to the changing needs of our community, IRWG has been rethinking some of our long standing programs. Faculty-Led Program Areas will now have an annual call and an initial program period of two years with the possibility of renewal, and a new name.
This faculty-led program aims to create an interdisciplinary community of scholars whose work on behavior change pertains to boosting the health and well- being of individuals, communities, organizations, and our greater society in sustainable ways.
Last month, Professor Elizabeth Campbell spoke about misconceptions, research gaps, the various experiences and complex needs of survivors of trafficking, in a webinar sponsored by IRWG’s Initiative on Gender Based Violence and Sexual Harassment.
Elizabeth Campbell, Co-Director of U-M's Human Trafficking Clinic will describe the varied experiences and complex needs of survivors of human trafficking, and will will debunk pervasive and harmful myths about trafficking.
