About
My research interests focus the impacts of police violence on Black women's mental health, including firsthand experiences of police brutality and exposure to violence on social media. I am also interested in the effects of criminal justice contact, broadly, on Black parent's mental wellbeing, as well as pre-term birth prevention for at-risk Black birthing individuals in the American South.
