IRWG’s Program Director for Faculty Research Development advocates for gender and sexuality research by working with faculty to find funding sources and develop proposals.

Research development support includes:
- Discussions about faculty research agendas (including considerations for scaling and scaffolding) and finding relevant funding opportunities;
- Grant writing strategies and ways to effectively communicate about research;
- Brainstorming and grant writing workshops for research teams;
- Feedback on written drafts of grants;
- Connection with other support services, including peer review by IRWG affiliate faculty or grants administrators.
- Help with drafts of research budgets and timelines.
