As a part of the Global South Gender and Sexuality Studies Collective Series, Professor Durba Mitra (Harvard) will be giving a talk titled "Third World Feminism and the Crisis of Authoritarianism".
The Global South Gender and Sexuality (GS2) Collective aims to develop a multidisciplinary space for engagement with issues of gender, sexuality, and racialization through postcolonial, decolonial, and critical area studies approaches.

The “Transnational Feminist Histories” project hosted a nine-day feminist summer institute, organized by Professor Wang Zheng. Participants included young feminist students and scholars who have been working on the history of international socialist feminism.
Professor Wang Zheng will conduct a translation project for the purpose of providing updated feminist scholarship for the on‐going curriculum transformation in higher education in China.
