Liberate Your Research: In-person Faculty Workshop

This workshop is intended for faculty and postdoctoral fellows affiliated at the University of Michigan (all campuses, all ranks).

Nadine Naber is a public scholar, activist, author, and teacher from Al-Salt, Jordan and the Bay Area of California. She’s the founder of Liberate Your Research Workshops and a Professor at the University of Illinois in the Gender and Women’s Studies and Global Asian Studies Programs. For 10 years, she worked as a professor at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2003-2013), where she co-founded the Arab and Muslim American Studies program.

This panel aims to create opportunities to explore researcher experiences with incorporating inclusive and varied gender identities and expressions into the research process.
