IRWG and the Ginsberg Center are partnering to present an interactive workshop for IRWG affiliates on equity-focused community engaged research.
This workshop is intended for faculty and postdoctoral fellows affiliated at the University of Michigan (all campuses, all ranks).
Nadine Naber is a public scholar, activist, author, and teacher from Al-Salt, Jordan and the Bay Area of California. She’s the founder of Liberate Your Research Workshops and a Professor at the University of Illinois in the Gender and Women’s Studies and Global Asian Studies Programs. For 10 years, she worked as a professor at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2003-2013), where she co-founded the Arab and Muslim American Studies program.

We will be discussing why the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the nation’s largest philanthropy dedicated solely to health, might be of interest to IRWG researchers. In this session, we will briefly introduce the priorities of RWJF and their current and forecasted funding opportunities.
