Advocating for Change: The Strength of Our Voices
The Michigan Women’s Surgical Collaborative (MWSC) is thrilled to host the next Michigan Women’s Surgical Collaborative Symposium on April 21-22, 2022 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Graduate Hotel in Ann Arbor, MI.
The annual leadership conference is a platform for national outreach designed to engage early- and mid-career faculty, senior residents, and fellows with experts in leadership and career-building approaches. (Medical students who would like to attend the symposium can sign up for the event waitlist. We will notify students about availalbe spots approximately a week before the symposium.)
Participants hear speakers on issues and challenges confronting women and underrepresented faculty members and are also provided individualized coaching opportunities based on self-evaluation of their own leadership and conflict styles. This event is sponsored by the Michigan Medicine Department of Surgery.
