Paige L. Sweet studies gender and sexuality, knowledge, gender-based violence, health and illness, the state, and embodiment. Paige’s work has been published in American Sociological Review, Social Problems, Sociological Theory, and Signs: Journal of Women in Culture & Society, among others. Her book, tentatively titled The Politics of Surviving: Domestic Violence in Traumatic Times, is forthcoming with University of California Press. Paige has taught courses on gender-based violence, gender, and sociological theory.
