About
My research examines social media as a lens for understanding public perceptions of healthcare, reproductive rights, and health policy. I employ digital research methods that integrate both quantitative and qualitative approaches, including the development of term co-occurrence networks to visually map and analyze emerging trends. My work emphasizes textual and computational analysis of online content and audience engagement, with a focus on issues such as conceptions of health policy, health literacy and health disinformation within digital communities. In addition, I conduct comparative analyses of international health systems, with a focus on healthcare costs and the pursuit of equitable access to care.
