Building Partnerships through Community Engagement

We are excited to announce that IRWG has begun a new partnership with the Ginsberg Center, Michigan's civic and community engagement center. The Ginsberg Center works with faculty across disciplines to cultivate and steward equitable partnerships between communities and the University of Michigan in order to advance social change for the public good. The new partnership is designed to create opportunities for IRWG affiliates interested in exploring or extending community engagement as part of their research. This can include research in cooperation with local community groups, designing research projects in response to community requests, and learning inclusive practices.

The Ginsberg Center team welcomes consultations with IRWG Affiliates who are interested in learning more. We are thrilled about the possibilities of this new partnership and excited to see what we can create together.
