In November, IRWG partnered with colleagues from Michigan State University’s Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen) to present a multi-day online conference on women’s suffrage and political power. The conference brought together hundreds of scholars, community members, activists, and elected officials to explore the future possibilities for expanding gender equity in political participation and representation in the United States and across the globe. Recordings from the conference are available on GenCen’s website.

On January 14, GenCen and IRWG are offering a workshop for faculty interested in the NSF’s Mid-Career Advancement Program. Chu-Hsiang (Daisy) Chang (Professor of Organizational Psychology, MSU) and Jocelyn Stitt (IRWG) will provide strategies for applying to the MCA Program.
