About

My current research focuses on the mainstreaming of supremacist ideas through the circulation of online humor. I am a qualitative methods scholar studying subjects at the intersection of popular culture and politics, and approach media studies research using feminist theoretical frameworks, critical race scholarship, and decolonizing perspectives. I am enthusiastic about working towards higher-ed equity: I was part of the university library anti-racist toolkit team (Winner of the 2023 Library Diversity Council Team Award), have had DEI research experience at National Humanities Alliance, and have participated in three years of labor organizing with the Graduate Employees' Organization
