About

Pamela Aronson is Professor of Sociology and an Affiliate Faculty Member of Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She completed her Ph.D. in sociology, with a minor in feminist studies, from the University of Minnesota. Her research has examined how social structures (including gender, race and class inequalities, and collapsing economic institutions during recent recessions) impact identities and the life course. She has studied the experiences of disadvantaged college students, the transition to adulthood, career development, gendered experiences of work and family, and attitudes toward feminism. She is writing a book called Gender Revolution? How Politics and #MeToo are Reshaping Everyday Life (Under Contract with Routledge).
