Katie's research focuses on public discourse around environmental and climate change politics. She is particularly interested in how different segments of the population (e.g., elites, policymakers, general public) discuss climate issues and approach climate activism. Her current projects address the role of women as leaders in the climate movement and public opinion regarding the climate movement.
