About

The stories we tell ourselves often reveal how we see ourselves and our social world. These narratives — defined broadly as the lenses through which individuals perceive and interpret information — are important, because they enable us to reappraise our experience as being purposive, affirm our values, regulate our emotions, and construct our identity. My research therefore is focused on i) uncovering novel insights into how individuals can alter the narratives they tell themselves, and ii) deepening our understanding of the self-fulfilling nature of the narratives that govern ethical, group, and leadership outcomes.
