Sarah Day Dayon is a Pinay educator and PhD candidate in Educational Studies focusing on Teaching and Teacher Education. She is a former high school history teacher of APUSH and Ethnic Studies. Her research interests include anti-racist/anti-colonial pedagogy, liberatory methods, social studies education, critical geographies, and K-12 Ethnic Studies curriculum. Currently, her research seeks to learn from and with Teachers of Color about their experiences. Her dissertation work centers Teachers of Color and how mapping methods can be used to learn about the environmental conditions and resources that support and sustain their well-being and work.
