Aria Grabowski, MPH, RD, is a nutrition epidemiology doctoral candidate in the School of Public Health, Department of Nutritional Sciences, under the mentorship of Drs. Karen Peterson and Deborah Watkins. Aria’s research focuses on diet and environmental exposures during pregnancy and the impact on long-term health for both the child and the birthing individual. Additionally, Aria is passionate about understanding how gender language is used in the classroom and clinic when discussing lactation and breastfeeding practices.
