Amanda K. Greene PhD, MPH is a research specialist at the Center for Bioethics and Social Sciences in Medicine (CBSSM) at the University of Michigan Medical School. Her scholarship is invested in understanding social media as a social determinant of health, specifically investigating the roles it plays in both sustaining and dismantling health inequities. At CBSSM she focuses on research projects exploring women’s representation in science and academic medicine, patient decision-making and experiences with chronic illness, as well as the ethical, legal, and social implications of health data sharing.
